# Conterminal

> Conterminal is the container-intelligent TMS for drayage. It reconciles conflicting terminal, rail, and vessel signals into one live truth, then runs dispatch, drivers, scheduling, billing, and quoting on that record for carriers, forwarders, and BCOs.

## LongShorty

LongShorty is Conterminal's tracking worker. It signs in to terminal, rail, and steamship-line systems around the clock, reconciles what each source reports about a container, and updates the shipment record. Rail coverage comes from a direct CSX connection, rail milestones carried by steamship-line sources such as ONE and Maersk, and customer-provided BNSF and CN credentials. Document and PDF parsing is handled by a separate worker, not by LongShorty.
