Privacy policy

Your documents stay tied to the work you select.

This policy explains what Conterminal processes when you use the platform and its mailbox add-ons, why the data is needed, and the controls available to your organization.

Effective July 12, 2026

Information we process

Conterminal processes account and workspace identity, shipment and container records, documents you upload or submit, and operational events needed to provide document review, tracking, dispatch, and related logistics workflows.

Gmail integration data

The Gmail add-on works only with the message you have open. The Gmail Chrome extension displays a launcher in Gmail, but its launcher reads only page layout needed for positioning. Message and attachment data is accessed only for conversations you explicitly select after you open Conterminal. Only attachments you explicitly submit are transferred. The integrations do not monitor mailbox content in the background, and Conterminal does not persist the email body.

Message identifiers, sender and reply headers, attachment identifiers, filenames, content types, and file bytes may be processed to prevent duplicates, route documents, and send a threaded confirmation. Access tokens are short-lived and are not stored.

How information is used

  • Authenticate users and enforce workspace access.
  • Classify, review, attach, and process logistics documents.
  • Prevent duplicate submissions and investigate failures.
  • Secure, maintain, and improve Conterminal services.
  • Send confirmations and service communications.

Storage, sharing, and retention

Conterminal uses service providers for cloud hosting, databases, object storage, monitoring, and email delivery. They process data only to provide contracted services. We do not sell Google user data or use mailbox data for advertising. Submitted documents and operational records are retained according to the customer workspace's business and legal requirements.

Google and Chrome Web Store Limited Use

Conterminal's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The use of information received from Google APIs by the Conterminal Gmail Chrome extension also adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

The Gmail Chrome extension uses Gmail site access only to render and position its launcher. It uses read-only Gmail API access to identify messages and retrieve attachments only after you select conversations and open Conterminal. Conterminal does not monitor mailbox content in the background, change messages or labels, or retain email bodies. It stores the submitted files and the minimum message headers required for document processing and confirmation replies.

Your controls

You can remove the add-on through Google Workspace Marketplace, remove the Chrome extension through Chrome, and revoke Google access from your Google Account. Workspace administrators can disable a user or integration immediately. Contact us to request access, correction, export, or deletion where applicable.
